Friday November 21st..."2 -> U"

Hey, long time no post! Just a quick reminder that this Friday night in the rotation of our meetings is the "2 -> U" night. A night for Q & A, and anything goes. If there are not any pressing questions on your heart, I have one for you to consider. "What Does A Fruit-Bearing Christian Look Like?" Jesus was very clear in His teachings that normal Christian life is one that "bears fruit." What does that mean, and what does it look like? He said to his disciples in John 15:16, "You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you." Think about it, when He chose us, He didn't just make Himself real so that we could know we are going to heaven, He chose us and put us in the world that we might bear fruit, and that our fruit would remain. Did you also catch the second point in this verse that Jesus is making? He indicates in the second half of the verse that receiving answers to prayer is a direct result of our bearing fruit. Now that is a big thought.
If there are not any other pressing questions that you have, which we are totally open for, let's press in on this thought from John 15:16. I believe that each of you are in the process of being FRUIT-BEARING BELIEVERS.
'Till Then,

Greetings & Salutations-

The one question I would like to ask is, what do you think a biblical position would be on the demonic?? I mean, I know of people who would cast a demon of chicken noodle soup because it was too hot, and yet know people who would say to ignore the the subject altogether. I have also heard about different levels the demonic, such as in "Needless Casualties of War" by John Paul Jackson. All of which is making me wonder where the line is drawn between "fearing the demonic" and "holding the demonic in complete contempt." Anywho, if there is time, that is the question I have.

In Christ-

It seems to me that there is a difference between having "fruit" in your life and acting like a fruitcake. Some people don't understand that.Thank you.
